My best friend Hannah asked me to be a bridesmaid! Of course I wanted to help throw her a bridal shower. I chose a theme that suited her personality; free spirited and lovable. Her roommate/bestfriend/bridesmaid Vanesa and I coordinated on who will pitch in for what. I got decorations.
Austin and I put a lot of thought into her bridal shower. First we were able to get the pallets behind a paper company, these were for the guests to place their food and tea cups on. Next to have a tea party we needed tea cups! We collected all of the teacups and saucers from 3 different Deseret Industries Thrift Stores. If you are looking to do a Boho tea party thrift stores are the best place to get the glasses, they are cheap and you can find lovely vintages looks. They don’t need to match, which will add to the spirit of boho.
To get a more refined look to the pallets we used burlap table runners. The table runners we used were from our wedding! Austin’s sweet aunt made them for our wedding and I was so glad that I was able to reuse them. We also wanted a great spot for the ladies to take cute group pics and selfies, so made a custom back drop! It was really simple to construct, it was just a 4ft x 4ft piece of fabric lined with fake flowers and real leaves from Hobby Lobby.
Hannah’s bridal shower was darling! The weather was perfect. Let me tell ya, a week before the tea party, it was suppose to rain. When the day came, it was raining at different parts of Provo and Orem BUT the rain never hit us!

These beautiful cherry blossoms were behind Hannah’s apartment that was next to a river

Vanesa friend’s mom made delicious lemon bars & oreo brownie.
Vanesa is amazing! She made this beautiful table arrangement for the food.

For beverage we had herbal tea & water. Tea was from Teavana; Dragonfruit Devotion.

We gave Hannah marriage advice & date night ideas. She had to read them out loud.
