Austin and I recently came back from our trip to San Francisco. We want to share with our friends and family the fun activities we’ve done the 3 days we were there for.
First off I, Maegan was born and raised in San Francisco. We try to visit my family about once a year. This trip was especially important for the family because my younger sister Jessica graduated with Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She’s part of Alpha Lamda Delta and graduated Magna Cume Laude with departmental honors. We are all every proud of her hard work and dedication!
When we flew out to San Fran we only had a few days to cram in as much family, site seeing, and fun as we could while we were there. We kicked it off with a Odesza concert Friday night with Austin, Nathan, my brother, and sister. After a late night of music we had to get what sleep we could before my sisters big day tomorrow.
The next morning we attended a beautiful graduation cerimony on the Dominican University grounds. Since it was Jessica’s day to shine we did whatever she wanted to do, and eat. After the graduation the family ate at a filipino restaurant called Isla. I grew up eating filipino food so it was a treat for Austin and I to eat lunch there. Then we went to the city and walked around Union Square, its basically the heart of the city (and there is a heart shaped sculptures on each corner of the block for where people take pictures with). While there we walked on down to China Town. It is always fun to check out the many cool and uniqe nik naks you can find there.
After our non stop weekend we decided to keep it up and cram in as much as we could before our flight that night. Sunday morning we started by meeting up with my parents, sister, and her boyfriend Nathan to enjoy the San Fransisco beach. Being from Utah this was a real treat getting to feel the sand, ocean spay, and listen to the waves. Then we said out good byes and parted ways at a park in San Francisco.
I love this Herschel backpack for traveling. There’s a slot for my laptop and a huge plus IT’S FLORAL!

Mom & Dad are so proud of her accomplishments
Jessica and her boyfriend Nathan.

Jessica and I had so much fun making flower crowns.
